This guide includes all volunteer instructions, SignUpGenius role descriptions, safety procedures, PTO Booth expectations, and event logistics.

Before You Arrive

Course Setup (9:15–10:15 AM)
Slots: 6

Set up cones, arrows, signs

Help set up tables & water station

Keep pathways clear

Look up names

Hand out bibs

Accept $2 cash/card payments

Direct families to the start line
Course Marshals (11:00–11:45 AM)

Stand at assigned route checkpoints

Guide runners

Monitor safety and report concerns
Crossing Helpers (11:00–11:45 AM)

Support safe crossings

Work alongside police (police direct traffic)

Distribute to runners

Clean area after last runner passes

Provide simple face painting

Keep brushes/supplies clean
First Aid Table (10:30 AM–12:00 PM)
Slots: 2 – CPR/First Aid Certified Only

Contact PTO leads or staff for help

Call 911 only if necessary

Avoid children who opt out

Cleanup Crew (12:00–12:30 PM)

Reset event area

Return all items to PTO Tent
Police Support – Donut & Coffee Pickup (10:00 AM)

Pick up donuts and coffee for onsite officers

Deliver by 10:30 AM

Mascot Performer (10:30 AM–12:00 PM)

Wear Eagle mascot suit

Greet families, wave, pose for photos

Move slowly and take breaks every 15–20 minutes

Stay with mascot at all times

Guide safely around crowds

Help with breaks, hydration, visibility
