
What is the PTO?
The Glen Forest Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a volunteer group of families, teachers, and staff working together to support every student at Glen Forest Elementary.
We focus on:
Student Support
Field trips, classroom supplies, and enrichment programs
Community Events
Back-to-School Picnic, International Night, Bingo Night, restaurant fundraisers, and the Spring 5K Fun Run
Staff Appreciation
Meals, recognition, and classroom support
Family Engagement
Flexible ways for families to participate and stay connected
How We Work
Membership
$20 per family per year
$10 for teachers and staff
Transparency
Meeting agendas, notes, and financial updates are shared with the community
Decision-Making
PTO members vote on budgets, programs, and key decisions
Leadership
Officers are elected each year and follow PTO bylaws and conflict-of-interest policies
