Welcome to our October PTO Highlights! Each month we share updates on recent events, upcoming activities, and ways you can get involved at Glen Forest Elementary.

Thank you to everyone who supported our September Chipotle Fundraiser Night — your participation directly benefits our students, teachers, and staff. We’ll be announcing the next restaurant fundraiser soon, so stay tuned for details later this month.

Fall Clubs (Oct 9 – Nov 20)

Clubs begin this week and run Thursdays from 4:30–5:30 PM.

Spots left (as of Sept 29):

• Arts & Crafts (K–2): 1

• Arabic (1–2): 15

• LEGO Robotics: 2

• Running: 11

• All others: FULL

Cost: $50 members · $60 non-members

Fall Festival: Abracadabra Autumn

Friday, Oct 24 · 6–8 PM · Glen Forest Gym

Enjoy food trucks, carnival games, raffles, photos, and a live Magic Show at 7 PM.

We need parent, guardian, teacher, and staff volunteers to help with stations, ticket sales, and welcoming families. Even a 30–60 minute shift makes a big difference and helps the event run smoothly.

Tickets (pre-sale ends Oct 22):

• Pre-Sale: $4/person · $15/family (up to 5)

• At the Door: $5/person · $20/family (up to 5)

• Extra guests: $3 pre-sale · $5 at the door

• Kids 0–3 & volunteers: Free

PTO Member Perks: Free Fujifilm photo · Prize Wheel spin · $10 off clubs

Volunteer Bonus: Free family admission + extra raffle entry with a 30–60 min shift
